The Star and War Medal and the ribbons of the Stars and War Medal should be worn in the following order, working outwards towards the left shoulder:

1939-45 Star - Atlantic Star - Africa Star - Pacific Star - Burma Star - Italy Star - France and Germany Star - War Medal

Campaign Medals for WWII are issued to Merchant Seafarers or close family members if deceased, upon receipt of proof of sea service in specific theatres of war. Personal application forms are available from the following address:
