FIELD OF REMEMBRANCE, CARDIFF CASTLE, 27TH OCTOBER 2023

The event was well attended and went very well. The weather was also kind to us. We were well represented with Dave Richards carrying our Standard and Des Farnham, Keith walker and Byron Jones in the congregation. Byron also planted a cross in the Merchant Navy Section to remember those lost when the S.S. Ramillies was sunk on 8th May 1941. Thankfully his father Thomas John Jones survived the sinking.

Yet again there was no room on the platform for a Fourth Service (Merchant Navy) representative. Complaints to TRBL have not been successful. Photographs of the event are available on the Photos Page.
